Microbiology testing is the floor, not the ceiling, of cosmetic safety. Every batch you sell needs evidence that it is within microbial limits and that the preservative system holds up under real-world use.
We run a full suite — total aerobic mesophilic count, yeast and mould count, pathogen screening (S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, E. coli, C. albicans) and preservative efficacy challenge tests — using ISO-aligned methods. Methods are selected against the product matrix so the result is meaningful, not just box-ticked.
Each release is closed with a signed Certificate of Analysis that gives a clear pass/fail call against your spec, so the QA decision to release or hold is straightforward.
